Check out: Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher)

User Friendly: Yes.

Description: Microsoft applications provide flexible and effective ways to deliver your work, especially within the classroom.

§ Word: Create documents with enhanced features that allow you to create, edit, and share/access documents.
§ Excel: Create spreadsheets with the options of storing, organizing and manipulating data.
§ Powerpoint: This presentation software allows you to creatively convey a message, one slide at a time.
§ Publisher: This publication software provides templates to help you get started creating professional newsletters, brochures, post cards and much more.

How I've used it:

I use Word and Powerpoint daily to create documents and lectures for the students, respectively. I’ve tracked my students’ proficiency levels and allowed them to monitor their progress using Excel. I have also implemented activities that required the students to analyze and manipulate data with Excel but I have yet to use Publisher in the classroom.

How you might use it: The possibilities are endless! Regardless of how big or small your instructional goal may be, at least one of Microsoft’s applications can be used in achieving that goal.

Now go to: Microsoft in Education for great examples on how to incorporate Microsoft into any classroom!
