Where We Need to Be
Task 2: access your Vocabulary Terms and use Quizlet's learning activities. Then go to Discussion (see tab on Wednesday, Feb 9 line above) and post a response to the 1:1 and Your Teaching discussion. Read and respond to the post of one other person.
Task 3: Look at the following class portals for ideas about how they are used for/in class. If you do not already have a class portal, then use the link to create one. If you do have a class portal, then please help those who don't or use this time to tweak your own.
Task 4: In groups look over the definition of Access-Process-Communicate and discuss what considerations must commonly be made as you plan 1:1 lessons on this model. Then work together to design actual lessons from specific NCSCOS goals and old lessons.
Task 5: Consider the online resources you use frequently, for example, Quizlet.com, Google Bookmarks. Share it with others by posting it as a link on the Online Resources page.
Go to the Online Resources page using the toolbar to the left.
Click the page's Edit button.
Hit the Link button.
Indicate that you are posting an External File.
Type the name of the site, then type or paste the URL address, and then hit Add Link.
Next to your link, indicate the subject area for which the link is primarily designed (ie. Algebra I, English I, Health and PE, Spanish, etc) and write a very brief description of the site and its usefulness.
Hit Save.
