A2 Unit 6 ""Curves by Design Project"

Access: Students access Project description posted by me in typewith.me website.

Process: The use http://gcalc.net to fine-tune the equation for activity 1.

Communicate: Discuss the influence of a, b, c, d, e coefficients on the graph of the hood section of the new car modeled by a new polynomial.

Lesson
Goal: 1.01 Conflict during the Federalist Period. History is full of conflict. It is a concept that US history students must understand.

Access: students will use a number of web sites to understand the differences between the Federalist and Democratic-Republican Party's.

Process: students will use the myths and legends website to create a 5 chapter conflict story highlighting one difference between the two politcal party's. Students must "argue" out one conflict.

Communicate: students will send their work to me for review and then their stories will be posted on the myths and legands website for their peers to review and comment on.

Students use museum box to create boxes giving the timeline for the first newspapers published and a history of how they were published.

Lesson
Access - review notes and vocabulary with students over the course of the week using PowerPoint presentation.

Process/Communicate - Students will create a cartoon using ToonDoo to show what they have learned this week. They will email the final product to me to be checked.

Prompt --> You are having a family reunion on Saturday. Create a cartoon describing where the following people live and describing the people.

Must be 2 slides long
Must have at least 4 family members
Must use at least 2 adjectives
Must tell where at least 2 people live (using vivir)
